New Delhi: A day after holding a joint press conference with the Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday addressed a rally in the Etah district of Uttar Pradesh.

The UP CM will be addressing four more rallies today ahead of the upcoming UP polls.

Reiterating his faith in the SP-Congress alliance, Akhilesh yadav said neither Lotus (BJP) nor Elephant (BSP) can compete against the Cycle (SP).

“Neither Lotus (BJP) nor Elephant (BSP)..no one can compete against the Cycle (SP),” Akhilesh Yadav said.

Earlier on Sunday, both Akhilesh and Rahul had called for an end to the divisive politics. The two sides are looking forward to gauge the minds of the people towards their coming together. 

Taking a dig at the BJP govt’s demonetisation move, the UP CM said the decision was taken without any preparation and the country’s economy has got affected by this.

“Rs 500, 1000 notes were banned without any preparation and the country’s economy has got affected by this,” Akhilesh said.
