Delhi Police on Sunday successfully recovered the replica of the Nobel Peace Prize won by activist Kailash Satyarthi. Three people have been arrested in connection with the theft.

Along with the Nobel Prize, the thieves had also stolen the citation and jewellery from Kailash’s residence in Delhi.

On Monday night, burglars broke into Satyarthi’s residence in Alaknanda and stole jewellery and other valuable items.

Kailash Satyarthi had gone to Latin America to attend the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates 2017 in Bogota city.

The theft was discovered by Satyarthi’s son in the morning after he found the front gate of his father’s house in Alaknanda broken.
