India’s Home Ministry website was purportedly hacked on Sunday, sending the cyber cell department of the Delhi Police scurrying for more information about how it had been hacked.
In 2016, 199 government websites were hacked, revealing the thin line between security and hackers in the online world. Hacking attacks have increased rapidly in the past few months following New Delhi’s tension with Islamabad.
