Minister of State (MoS) Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju took to his Twitter handle on Monday to slam the Congress party saying that Hindu population is reducing in India as they do not convert people while minorities are flourishing.
Rijiju tweeted, “Hindu population is reducing in India because Hindus never convert people. Minorities in India are flourishing unlike some countries around.”

The Union Minister embedded a news report with his tweet which states that the Arunachal Congress Committee is alleging that the Narendra Modi-led BJP govt is trying to “convert Arunachal Pradesh into a Hindu-majority state”.
He further went on and tweeted, “Congress should not make such provocative statements. India is a secular country. All religious groups enjoy freedom & living peacefully.”

In his latest tweet, Rijiju refuted all remarks made by Congress and said, “Why is Congress making such irresponsible statements? People of Arunachal Pradesh are unitedly living peacefully with each other.”
