A day after Supreme Court’s ruling in the disproportionate assets case, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) General Secretary VK Sasikala on Wednesday re-inducted two of her relatives in AIADMK, who were earlier banished by Jayalalithaa in 2011.

TTV Dinkaran and S Venkatesh were removed from the party on the charges of anti-party activities and corruption by Jayalalithaa.

The troubled AIADMK caretaker has announced to re-induct her nephew Dinakaran, who is a former Rajya Sabha member, as the party’s Deputy General Secretary.

As per reports, the family members have been re-inducted in the party only after they apologised personally as well as in a letter to Sasikla, who accepted their apology.

“Dinakaran and Venkatesh are allowed to join the party after they expressed regret for their acts in person and through letter and requested that they be allowed to join the party (again),” Sasikala said in a statement.

Earlier in 2011, Dinakaran and Venkatesh, apart from Sasikala and husband M Natarajan were dismissed from AIADMK by late chief minister Jayalalithaa after being reported for interfering with the party and government administration.
