The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested Enforcement Directorate’s former joint director JP Singh and 3 others in a graft case.

Singh was accused of accepting a bribe during investigation of Indian Premier League betting scandal and for his involvement in Rs 5,000-crore money laundering case against an alleged hawala operator.

CBI had registered a case against Singh in 2015 after a complaint from the Finance Ministry. The agency had also conducted a raid in Singh’s offices in Ahmedabad following the complaint.
