Sanyasi Behera, a visually-impaired Bhubaneswar resident, cleared the Odisha Administrative Services exams, getting an all Odisha ranking of 220. Eight other candidates also qualified in the preliminary exams to make it to the final list.

“The feeling is nothing less than that of scaling the Mount Everest,” he added.
The results for Odisha Civil Services preliminary examination were declared on February 17.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in 2006 allowed the visually impaired candidates to appear for the civil services examination.
