The stage is all set for chief minister designate Yogi Adiyanath who will be taking oath today in Uttar Pradesh. The priest-cum-politician has been chosen by the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government which won with thumping majority in the 2017 assembly elections.
Along with Adityanath’s name, two Deputy CMs — BJP state unit chief Keshav Prasad Maurya and Lucknow Mayor Dinesh Sharma – were also announced.
Yogi Adityanath’s name for position of Chief Minister was announced on Saturday.
The BJP, who had been keeping shush on the list of the ministers to be included in UP’s cabinet, on Sunday gave out a list of total 45 ministers who will be sworn in along with the trio.
