Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other party leaders. Adityanath met PM Modi to discuss development issues in the state.

The hour-long meeting between the two leaders was held at Parliament House.

Yogi Adityanath also met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Union Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the distribution of portfolios among the ministers.

The new UP CM will also meet President Pranab Mukherjee, BJP President Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and veteran party leader LK Advani.

Adityanath was sworn in as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday after Bharatiya Janata Party won the assembly polls with a huge mandate.
