Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah said on Sunday that his party will have an office in every district in the country by December 2018.
Shah was speaking at a function in South Goa’s Margao town after inaugurating the new premises of the BJP’s South Goa district headquarters.
“BJP has resolved to have functioning party offices in every district in the country before December 2018. We may have started late but the pace has picked up,” Shah said.
The BJP President, who arrived in Goa on a two-day visit on Saturday, said Goa has the potential to be a model state, which could be emulated by other Indian states.
“Goa may be small but the potential is big. Goa should be a model state for the rest of the country. It can be a fully developed state,” Shah said.
