Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday while addressing Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Officers of the 2015 batch said that the officers should ‘avoid getting into a mindset that resists change’.
Speaking at the inaugural session of Assistant Secretaries in Delhi, PM Modi said that IAS Officers should fill India’s administrative system with energy of ‘New India’.
The PM also said that countries that became independent after India and faced scarcity of resources, have managed to reach new heights of development.
He also stated that boldness is required in the officers to drive change, and that ‘fragmented administrative arrangement does not allow the collective capabilities of officers to deliver’.
