With 3 people on board Indian Air Force’s Advanced Light Helicopter on Tuesday went missing near Sagalee in Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The incident has came to light just after another helicopter with Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on board was forced to make an emergency landing due to bad weather conditions in Itanagar.

The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) had taken off from Tezpur airbase in Assam around 4 p.m., the official told IANS.

Rijiju also confirmed that he is safe and sound after his emergency landing due to turbulent weather in the North-East.

As per reports, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Khandu has ordered state government to assemble local people in search of the missing IAF helicopter which was on a rescue mission lately.
