As per a report in Navbharat Times, Delhi’s DCP Ishwar Singh has confirmed that the police plans to ask the bar owners to stop hosting ladies’ nights which are usually held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Meanwhile, the bars in Hauz Khas have said that they have not received any notice regarding the ban as of now.

The police have also tightened security in the Hauz Khas village in view of recent incidents of terror attacks on foreign tourist in various European countries. Traffic police has also been asked to conduct checks at the exit of village to prevent incidences of drink-driving.
