Mukesh Ambani’s house Antilia in South Mumbai on Altamount Road caught fire on Monday evening at 9:10 PM. According to the onlookers the fire broke out at the terrace of the building.
As soon as the fire was reported six fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot and the fire engineers took control over the fire in sometime.
The Fire Brigade department of Mumbai said, “Fire that broke out at Antilia building on Altamount Road now under control.”
Antilia has a staff of 600 to maintain the residence 24/7. As of November 2014, it is deemed to be the world’s most expensive residential property, after Buckingham Palace, which is designated as a crown property. It is thus the world’s most expensive private residential property, valued at $2 billion.
