On Tuesday, Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakot region of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir at 6:45 in the morning. No casualties have been reported so far. This is the 3rd ceasefire violation by Pakistan in last 24 hours.
As per reports, the Indian army is retaliating with full force.
On Monday, an Army Jawan and a 6-year-old girl were killed and three others were injured in the heavy firing and shelling from Pakistani side in Poonch and Rajouri districts.
The Army jawan was later identified as, Naik Mudassar Rehman, a 27-year-old jawan of Indian Army was martyred after a shell from Pakistani forces landed on his bunker, severely injuring the jawan. The jawan succumbed to injuries while he was being rushed to the hospital.
As per reports, the Pakistani Army also shelled mortars in civilian areas along the LoC in Balakote, Manjakote and Baroti belts in Jammu and Kashmir.
