As Pakistan continues with its barbaric ways targeting civilians in the Valley, India Army displayed its humane side when it rescued around 150 children in the Nowshera sector who were stuck in a school due to unprovoked firing by Pakistan.
“We were playing in school when we heard the sound of firing. Our teachers warned us and took us inside before calling the police,” a student told NewsX.
“Children and teachers were terrified due to firing. Our aim was to save them in one go and I am very happy we managed to rescue them,” a police official said.
Meanwhile, schools in the areas have been closed in the wake of the incident and will reopen once the situation improves, according to officials.
Earlier on Friday, a four-month-old baby from Pakistan underwent a heart surgery at a Noida hospital showcasing a striking contrast between the two neighbours in terms of humanity.
