Addressing the nation on the 34th edition of his monthly broadcast ‘Man Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hailed recently launched Goods and Service Tax (GST) as a huge success and applauded everyone for their support.

“I congratulate all the officials, politicians and countrymen for the successful implementation of GST,” he said.

Recalling ‘Quit India Movement’, PM Modi appealed to the nation to pledge and contribute towards country’s prosperity.

“Let us start the movement of finding “greater reality” this August,” he said.

The PM also congratulated Indian Women’s cricket team for their exceptional feat during the recently concluded World Cup in England.

“Our daughters are scaling new heights and are making us proud in various fields. The Indian women cricket team have made us really proud,” he said.

They may have lost the final but the entire country stood together with them. “They won the heart of 125 crore people, my heartiest wishes to them,” added PM Modi.

Akashwani broadcasted the programme in regional languages immediately after the Hindi broadcast.
