Once again getting exposed on the poor quality of service, a Mumbai-Delhi-Jeddah Air India flight departed around three hours late from Mumbai Airport. The cause for the delay of the flight was the air condition failure.
The flight that was supposed to depart around 8:30AM left around at 11.30AM. It has been reported that due to a technical glitch, the air condition failure occurred in the flight.
“The Air India has set up an inquiry into the Mumbai-Delhi-Jeddah flight delay incident,” an Air India spokesperson said.
This is not the first time when Air India has been in news for the poor service to their passengers. Earlier, the national carrier was surrounded in the controversy when it decided to chalk-off non-vegetarian meals from its flight menu for its economy class segment. The reason given for the move was that it wanted to reduce wastage and cost that can be further utilised in improving their catering services.
