Days after Chandigarh Police arrested Vikas Barala and his accomplice Ashish Kumar in the stalking case, a video footage has emerged showing the accused buying alcohol before chasing Varnika Kundu’s car on August 4.
The CCTV footage clearly shows Ashish entering the liquor store in Chandigarh sector 9 and leaving with the bottles in hand.
The video footage adds substance to the allegations made by the girl claiming the both Vikas and Ashish were intoxicated the night they chased and tried to abduct her.
The police are taking cognizance of the video and will use it against the accused to establish the case.
