While speaking to NewsX in an exclusive interview, currently sacked editor of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) newspaper Namadhu MGR, Marudhu Alaguraj took shots at TTV Dinakaran and said he was sacked unceremoniously so that TTV could patch things with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“My pen has been snatched by Modi. I hope BJP implement a rule that they don’t manufacture pen and pencil. Pen will defeat dictatorship,” the sacked editor was quoted as saying.
Disappointed with the management, Marudhu said, “I have done my job with dedication. But I didn’t expect my management acting like this. BJP have started atrocity on media also”.
Alaguraj alleged that after his poem, BJP might have put heavy pressure on the management and that’s why they were forced to take action against him.
He further added that it’s actually the BJP, who is solely responsible for factionalism in AIADMK.
While continuing the party bashing, he stated that BJP was more concerned in politics than governance as they are now becoming a backdoor party in Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tamil Nadu.
He accused BJP of carrying out immoral activities and said that after Amma’s demise and Karunanidhi’s absence, the party thinks that there is an opportunity for them to grow here.
“BJP is thinking that Karunanidhi’s absence and after Amma’s demise there is an opportunity for the party to grow here,” Alaguraj said.
Alaguraj also revealed that so far he has faced no pressure from the EPS or OPS side.
“I work for TTV Dinakaran, So have to blame him only,” Alaguraj said.
“He didn’t like my work as it might affect him,” he added.
Reminiscing his days with Amma, he addressed her as an iron lady with whom he worked for 9 years and was 100% happy.
“I worked with her for 9 years and I was 100% happy. But I can’t travel with them for 9 days. They are not like Amma. They are afraid of their cases so they want to adjust with BJP,” Alaguraj said in a statement.
Feeling Amma’s absence he said, “If she was alive, this kind of situation will never happen”.
