Father of murdered eight-year-0ld student of Ryan International school, Gurugram has urged the school authorities to investigate the case in detail. He also asked the govt to conduct a parallel CBI inquiry into the matter.
Varun Thakur, whose son was found murdered at a washroom in school’s premises also urged parents to maintain calm and not indulge in violence.
“I request all parents supporting us to not get involved in violence,” he said.
Earlier on Sunday, hundreds of people staged a demonstration outside the school premises demanding a CBI probe into the murder. The protesters also set a liquor shop ablaze near the school.
The student of class 2 was found murdered in schools toilet. Police have arrested a bus conductor who allegedly tried to sexually assault the boy and slit his throat later.
Meanwhile, the acting principal of the school has been suspended. The services of the private agency providing security to the school have also been suspended.
