Amid huge protests by victim’s parents and rising anger of people against Ryan International School management, the Supreme Court on Monday (today) will hear a plea filed by 7-year-old’s father asking for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe in the case.
A bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud will hear the matter at 12.45PM today.
Earlier in the day, victim’s father had expressed that there were security lapses in the school. Victim’s parents had also said that they will approach the supreme court in this matter and now the top court has decided to hear their plea.
The Haryana Police has also sent a team to Mumbai to question Ryan International Group’s owner.
Meanwhile, acting in the case, two people from school management were arrested on September 10. “Investigation will be done methodically,” Gurugram Police commissioner said.

Parents are also protesting against Ryan International School Greater Noida branch questioning safety of students.
All campuses of Ryan International School in Gurugram will remain closed today and tomorrow (September 12) amid the ongoing protests as per state government order. Adequate police deployment has been made by the concerned authorities following the protests.
