In a major development that took place in the Pehlu Khan lynching case, investigation against the six accused in Alwar mob lynching has been shut down.
Pehlu khan succumbed to the injuries after he was lynched by a mob in Rajasthan’s Alwar district for allegedly carrying cattle.
According to reports, the case has currently been shut down and the six accused named by Pehlu Khan in his dying deceleration have been declared not guilty.
The investigation was carried out by CB CID (Central Branch CID). Six people who were named in the First Information Report (FIR), the investigation against all the accused has been stopped.
Pehlu Khan, along with 15 other men, was transporting cattle in a truck on the Behror highway in Alwar when they were stopped by the cow vigilantes and immediately thrashed.
Others who were badly wounded in the attack were admitted at the Alwar hospital.
The incident had created a ruckus inside the Parliament with the Opposition and ruling party debating on the Alwar lynching incident.
