A petty dispute over car parking in a village in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh led to the murder of two brothers on Thursday evening. The family of the victim claimed that political rivalry was the main reason behind this murder. Police in large number has been deployed in the village to avoid any community clash.

SSP Meerut, Manzil Saini immediately rushed to the spot to take a look at the situation and avoid any chances of the incident taking a communal shape. According to onlookers, Dariyao Singh and Munshad Ahmad quarrelled over parking a car in front of Singh’s house. Soon the argument turned violent and people from both sides gathered at the spot. Both the parties began pelting stones and then gunshots were fired in which Munshad Ahmad and his brother Dilshad received multiple bullet injuries and succumbed to their wounds.

As per reports, Dariyao Singh had beaten the deceased six months ago and an FIR under IPC Section 307 was registered against him. Family of the deceased claims that parking issue was a cover up to settle scores.

SSP Meerut, Manzil Saini told media a case has been registered, two people have been detained in this incident and further investigation is on.
