Pakistan on Saturday violated ceasefire for the second time in last 24 hours in Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
According to reports, the India Army has strongly retaliated to the ceasefire violation. The security operation has been concluded in the Arnia sector.
Pakistan resorted to firing in Arnia sub-sector using mortars, automatics and small arms. They targeted Sai, Treva and Jabowal forward posts of the Border Security Force (BSF).
Earlier on September 15, at least one Border Security Force trooper was martyred and one civilian was injured in ceasefire violation by Pakistan rangers in Arnia sub-sector of international border in Jammu district.
The martyred jawan was identified as Ct Brijendra Bahadur Singh.
BSF sources said Pakistan rangers resorted to unprovoked firing at Indian positions in Arnia sub-sector.
