Congress leader and former Union Minister Manish Tewari on Sunday landed himself in a controversy after he tweeted out a derogatory post using some abusive words for ‘Bhakts’.
The former Union Minister apparently tweeted out the post in response to a Twitter user who said him not to teach patriotism to PM Modi as it is in his DNA. The tweet reads, “Don’t teach patriotism to Modi as it is in his DNA. Not even Mahatma Gandhi can teach him patriotism. How low can you stoop.”
Irked by this reply of the Twitter user, Manish Tewari tweeted, “Is Se Khate Hain C******n Ko Bhakt Bana Na or Bhakton Ko Permanent C****a Bana Na -Jai Ho. Even Mahatma cannot teach MODI Deshbhakti.”
In the meantime, the response by the senior Congress leader has been criticised by Twitterati.
One response to his abusive tweet reads,” & you were our former I&B minister. Wonderful language used as a former minister.”
Another reads, “Itna frustrated hai Yeh log ki language pe control hi nahi hai.”

Few days back, another senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh posted a disparaging post on the social media that indicated that PM Modi’s achievement was his ability to fool the people of the country.
The meme posted by Digvijaya read, “Mere do achievements 1.) Bhakton ko Ch** banaya 2.) Ch*** ko Bhakt banaya.”
