The autopsy report of deceased IAS officer Anurag Tewari confirms that he received multiple injuries before his death. After the post-mortem report has been issued it clearly proves the stand of the family that it was murder.

During the preliminary investigation it was claimed that the IAS officer would have died due to drug overdose or heart attack. These speculations were made because Anurag was said to be on anti-depressants. However after the autopsy report it is clear that atleast 6 injuries were inflicted in him before he died.

Anurag Tiwari was found dead in Lucknow on Wednesday, May 17. Initially the case was being probed by Lucknow Police but the case was later given to CBI.

The family had alleged that the IAS officer was about to break a scandal and was under pressure for the same.

Tiwari, a 2007 batch Karnataka cadre officer was found dead in his night clothes near the Meerabai Guest House where he was staying in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow.

Anurag Tiwari was in Lucknow after attending a training program at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie.
