Sources close to Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) have informed NewsX that India will exercise it’s right to reply at United Naiton General Assembly against allegation leveled by Pakistan on Monday. India may take this opportunity to reply to Islamabad around midnight tonight. Pakistan made a joke of itself after it showed a fake image of Kashmiri victim to defame India at the UNGA.

First Secretary in the Permanent Mission of India to the UN, Eenam Gambhir will be representing India while exercising right to reply tonight at the United Nation General Assembly.

On September 24, Pakistan’s Ambassador to United Nations (UN) Maleeha Lodhi while responding back to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj IITs, IIMs remark, said that India was the ‘Mother of Terrorism’ and showed a fake image of Kashmiri victim which later turned out to be a victim of Israeli attacks that took place on Gaza in 2014.

Following the series of allegations against India by Pakistan at the UNGA, it its expected that Indian representatives at the General Assembly will exercise their right to reply to Islamabad.

Sources revealed it to NewsX that the Indian response will not just focus on Pakistan showing a fake pic to insult India on such a global platform but the bigger question of allegations by Pakistan in reference to Kashmir. However, the issue of showing fake pic could be a part of a mention in the reply.

Pakistan attempt to malign India’s image at the global level came after EAM Sushma Swaraj while addressing the  UN General Assembly on September 23 exposed Pakistan for harbouring and sponsoring terrorism. Sushma Swaraj said that while India established institutions like IITs, IIMs, it was Pakistan which has perpetuated terror organisations like LeT, JeM, Haqqani and Hizbul Mujahideen.

“Let us accept that terrorism is an existentialist danger to humankind. There is absolutely no justification for this barbaric violence,” the External Affairs Minister added.
