On Tuesday, Madhya Pradesh police arrested two people for molesting a 10-year-old girl at an apartment complex in Shivpuri area. The arrests came in after the whole incident was captured in a CCTV camera positioned outside.
In the horrific footage, a man is seen moving towards the girl, after she takes a step back, the molester held her hand and pushed her up against the wall. Meanwhile, the other man stood there and watched the whole incident as a mute spectator.
When the girl refused their advances, one of the men is seen cornering her and trying to drag her away.
Later, when the parents got to know about whole matter, they filed a complaint with the police and submitted the CCTV footage as the evidence.
While speaking to media, Additional Superintendent of Police said that the accused were arrested after the examination of the CCTV footage.
As per reports, the incident took place in Sadar bazar on September 24, when two men employed to whitewash the building tried to molest the girl.
Recently the safety of children in school was also put to question after a 7-year-old, Pradyuman Thakur, was mercilessly murdered in the Gurgaon’s Ryan International School.
Following the matter, the Haryana government had said that it would be taking over the school management until the situation will come back to normal. Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar had also ordered a CBI probe in this matter. After the incident many parents queued up to collect TC of their wards citing safety and security reasons.
With CBI probe underway, Ryan International School’s branch at Bhondsi, Gurgaon reopened on Monday morning with 40 new CCTV cameras and a new security agency guarding its premises.
