Sunanda Pushkar murder case: Delhi Police to interrogate Pakistani Journalist Mehr Tarar

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police is likely to interrogate Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar in connection with the murder case of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar.

"Tarar will be questioned if necessary as she is a relevant person in this case and we will try to collect the information from her," said Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi.

We have asked FBI to expedite the process of sending viscera report. We are waiting for a formal report from them, said Delhi Police, adding "If require Shashi Tharoor will be questioned."

Former Minister Shashi Tharoor, senior journalist Nalini Singh and Sunanda's son Shiv Menon, have so far been questioned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in this case.

Sunanda was found dead in the Leela Hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014 and Delhi police registered a murder case in the death of Sunanda Pushkar in January this year.
