NEW DELHI: In its last leg, the Monsoon Session of Parliament is soon to come to an end in next two days. However, the past two weeks have not really seen any productive results. As the Opposition continues to create ruckus in the Parliament, it is unlikely that the government would be able to pass the much-awaited Goods and Services Tax Bill in this session.
Amid major uproar, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday introduced the GST Bill in the Rajya Sabha. But the discussion could not be taken forward as chaos forced the Speaker to adjourn the House for the day.

•It is sad to see that people are losing their trust in democracy. I condemn the action in the Parliament that took place yesterday: Naidu
•The country is waiting for the passage of the GST and I want to appeal the Opposition that they should stop playing politics over it. Please let the House run, says Venkaiah Naidu.
•We cannot be blamed for the stalling of the House as the government is not taking any initiative to make any middle path. GST is like a baby to us and we definitely do not oppose it but at the same time we are only asking for certain clauses that the government has dropped. They are only trying to save their leaders under the umbrella of GST, says Congress MP Pramod Tiwari.
