NEW DELHI: In its last leg, the Monsoon Session of Parliament is soon to come to an end in next two days. However, the past two weeks have not really seen any productive results. As the Opposition continues to create ruckus in the Parliament, it is unlikely that the government would be able to pass the much-awaited Goods and Services Tax Bill in this session.
Amid major uproar, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday introduced the GST Bill in the Rajya Sabha. But the discussion could not be taken forward as chaos forced the Speaker to adjourn the House for the day.
