BENGALURU: The body of Indian IT professional Prabha Arun Kumar, who was stabbed to death in Australia last week, reached India on Saturday and will be cremated today in her native village in Puttur near Mangalore.

Prabha was brutally stabbed to death in Australia while on the phone talking to her husband in city. The incident occurred on March 7 in Westmead, a suburb of Sydney.

“We are still searching for the killer and trying to establish a motive behind the horrific attack,” said Australian police.

Earlier on Thursday morning, Prabha Shetty's husband G Arun Kumar has made a desperate appeal asking everyone to share whatever information they have about the incident that might help the cops in nabbing the culprits. Breaking his silence, Arun said, "I know that we can't bring her back but I want whoever killed my gorgeous wife to be brought to justice."
