Hardik Patel on Friday alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party might produce a doctored sex CD to defame him and gain political mileage ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Gujarat. The BJP has prepared a doctored sex CD to defame me and it will be released just before the election. What else can one expect from the BJP? So just wait, watch and enjoy,” Hardik Patel was quoted as saying by Times of India. On being asked how he knew about the CD Hardik said that it was very typical of the BJP.

On the other hand Gujarat Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president, Jitu Vaghani refused to respond to the allegations. Hardik Patel on Friday also said that over 3,500 VVPAT machines had “failed” in the first level test of the Election Commission, and alleged that the ruling BJP would indulge in “fraud” in the upcoming Gujarat elections. On September 29, the Election Commission said that it will use Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) with Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) in all 50,128 voting booths in Gujarat.

“Over 3,550 VVPAT machines failed in the first level test of the Election Commission, and I can say with confidence that the BJP will indulge in fraud in Gujarat elections,” Hardik Patel tweeted.

On Friday Hardik Patel inaugurated a movie, ‘Hammein Haq Chahiye, Haq Se’, focusing on him and the Patidar agitation in Gujarat. The Patidar agitation for reservation under the Other Backward Class category for the Patels has generated interest, especially among Gujarati filmmakers.

Three films were announced on the subject — ‘Power of Patidar’, ‘Salagto Sawal: Anamat’ in Gujarati and ‘Hamme Haq Chahiye, Haq Se’ in Hindi that will be released on Friday.
