Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of his poll campaign ahead of the forthcoming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday addressed two seperate public rally’s in the state. PM Modi visited Himachal Pradesh’s Sundar Nagar and Raitt district to promote his party as the state will be witnessing assembly elections on November 9. Making his development pitch to woo the people of the hill state, PM Modi in Sundar Nagar said that only development can fulfil our dreams and will lead the way for our children to them to the destination of their choice. Taking a pot shot at the ruling Congress party in the state, PM Modi said “the people of this country will not forgive Congress even after 100 years on the face of honesty. Congress is getting the fruits of its sins. If people are angry today, it is due to its own deeds.”

Speaking at a different rally in Himachal Pradesh’s Raitt district, PM Modi said, “There was maximum development in Himachal when there was Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee government in the centre and Prem Kumar Dhumal’s in Himachal. You have a chance again.” PM Modi said after the Bharatiya Janata Party a few days ago had declared Prem Kumar Dhumal as their Chief Ministerial face for Himachal Pradesh. Ahead of November 8, which has been termed by the Congress party as a black day as it will be one year after the Prime Minister had announced had the note ban, PM Modi said, “They’re going to celebrate November 8 as black day and burn my effigies. They don’t know Modi is a disciple of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and won’t be cowed down.”
