After Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was convicted of rape charges and was rewarded a prison time of 20 years in two rape cases, Haryana police has been conducting raids and carrying out intensive search operations on Dera Sacha Sauda properties. Following the raids, the Haryana Police has recovered a hard disk, containing the property details, amounting more than Rs 700 cr. The disk, which is also said to be also containing the details about the Ram Rahim’s associates, will be handed over to Enforcement Directorate (ED) for further investigations.

According to Haryana Police, the hard disk was recovered during the raids at different places. According to the police, several attempts were made to destroy the hard disk by Dera Sacha Sauda supporters but the police was still able to recover enough information. While disclosing a few details from the hard disk, a police official said that the hard disk recovered has information about Dera Sacha Sauda investments, how many people have received money from the organisation and also the investments made by the ex-Dera Sacha Sauda chief.

According to reports, the hard disk also had information about the about associates who had invested in Gurmeet Ram Rahim business.

Hailing it as a major development, the Haryana police nabbed the ‘adopted’ daughter, Honeypreet, of rape convict and self-styled Godman Ram Rahim Singh on Tuesday. Honeypreet, who was said to be absconding for over a month, was arrested from Zirakpur near Chandigarh.

During the questioning by the police, Honeypreet complaint of chest pain and she was taken to the hospital by the police, where the doctors said that she was fine and then the grilling session began once again at the police station.

The ‘adopted’ daughter of Ram Rahim Singh had been accused of serious charges of sedition, waging war and inciting people for violence after Dera Sacha Sauda chief was pronounced guilty by the special CBI court over rape charges.
