Bharatiya Janata Party to mark the three year in Maharashtra had put out a  poster which lists out the achievements of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led state government. After the poster surfaced Congress took a dig on the BJP government and said that CM Devendra Fadnavis government and said that they used a picture of the Bangkok skyline and passed it as an achievement of the government. The poster lists the ‘smart city’ project and was put up on the ground floor of the Mantralaya and reads “yes, this is my government.”

“The quality of roads in the picture cannot be seen anywhere in Maharashtra. The state spent crores on advertisements for its anniversary. They can continue to spend money on branding and marketing, but people will not trust this tele-brand government,” Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant was quoted as saying by HT. Maharashtra Congress on its verified Twitter account wrote, ” Badly failed to achieve anything in reality, #FadnavisGovt now into sham photoshops using pics of a Bangkok bridge in its official Advt.”

The director general of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, Brijesh Singh, said the poster, part of 50 panels in the Mantralaya, is for “representational purposes only” and does not claim to be of a particular road, reported Hindustan Times.
