Nitish Kumar to take oath as Bihar Chief Minister on February 22

PATNA: Soon after Nitish Kumar addressed a press conference and admitted that it was his ‘mistake’ to step down as the Chief Minister of Bihar, the senior Janata Dal United leader met the Governor to stake claim to form a fresh government in Bihar.

According to the reports, Kumar is all set to take oath as the Bihar Chief Minister on Sunday, February 22 at 5 PM inPatna.

The senior leader of the party was firm to make a comeback in Bihar and earlier in the day, he in a possible act of following Arvind Kejriwal’s footsteps apologized to the people of Bihar for resigning as the Bihar Chief Minister.

Jitan Ram Manjhi earlier in the day today resigned from his position of Chief Minister and claimed that Nitish Kumarwas trying to remote control his government. Slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party and Jitan Ram Manjhi, Kumar stated that the BJP’s game plan has failed and the entire drama was scripted by the saffron party. He clarified that he had never interfered in the government as alleged by Manjhi.

Nitish Kumar had quit as the Chief Minister of Minister post the miserable show of JD(U) in the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.
