While the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders unanimously extended support to the embattled Bihar CM, the party leaders staged protest against the speaker outside his office accusing him of favouring the JD(U) ahead of floor test.

“This is murder of democracy. The speaker is biased,” chanted the saffron party leaders as they staged protest outside the speaker’s chamber.

BJP further accused the speaker to be playing in hands of JD(U).

The BJP leader Nand Kishore Yadav earlier declared that the MLAs have decided to vote in favour of CM Jitan Ram Manjhi in the floor of the state assembly.

“The MLAs have decided to support Jitan Ram Manjhi and we have informed Central leadership about this,” BJP leader and Bihar NDA convener Nand Kishore Yadav said on Thursday.

In the 243 member House, of which is currently reduced to 233, the BJP has 88 MLAs
