A Delhi based lawyer has filed a police complaint against self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa for sitting on the chair of a SHO in an east Delhi police station and “insulting” the police fraternity. Advocate Gaurav Gulati in the police complaint said that Radhe Maa has created ‘mockery of law’.
“Radhe Maa is a controversial character and always in news for her wrong acts and this time she has crossed all the limits of morality. Even if it can be presumed that she was allowed to sit on the seat of the SHO, it does not minimise her offence,” the complaint read.
“Radhe Maa is liable for criminal conspiracy/ criminal trespass/ defamation and also to spoil the image of Delhi Police nationwide,” Gulati said,
A picture of Radhe Maa sitting in the seat of SHO surfaced on Thursday morning. Besides Radhe Maa, police personnel inside the station were seen folding their hands.
As per reports, many ‘bhakts’ entered the police station in presence of Radhe Maa and hailed her. The picture was reportedly clicked on the day of ‘Ashtami’ during ‘Navratri’. On further enquiry, a constable of the police station revealed that Radhe Maa was on a trip to Ramleela and with the increasing people in the event, SHO of the station brought her in the police station.
The person standing with folding hands in the picture is none other than Sanjay Sharma, the SHO of the Vivek Vihar police station. Sharma is also seen wearing her ‘chunari’ as mark of his gratitude towards the self-style god woman. Radhe Maa even went to the extent of dancing as cops around her sang praises.
The SHO, Sanjay Sharma was suspended after the incident took place but no action was taken against Radhe Maa.
