After monitoring the recent mischievous activities of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shiv Sena through their mouthpiece Saamana criticised the BJP government for alleged ‘horse trading’ after Patidar leader Narendra Patel made sensational claims that he was offered Rs 1 crore by BJP to join the party. The editorial also lashed out at Prime Minister asserting that if ‘Gujrat Model’ is an esteemed ideology for his party, then why the party supremo or Prime Minister himself is indulging in campaigning. According to the Shiv Sena mouthpiece, Narendra Modi is a regular visitor in the state of Gujarat and is present even in the slightest of inaugurations, which doesn’t involve the shadow of a Prime Minister. The mouthpiece stated that the Prime Minister is throwing shades that if they won’t bank votes from the people Gujarat then they will not bag anything from the Centre. The editorial also revealed that according to the Patidar leader Hardik Patel, BJP has fixed a budget of Rs 500 crore rupees to buy leaders from his party.

Hardik Patel, who is treasured as the key to large vote banks in Gujarat looks after the Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) which enjoys the support of various prevailing communities including Patels, and the other minorities. Earlier Uddhav Thackeray and Hardik Patel were seen staying vigilant about the voting in Gujarat, where the Patidar leader came out praising the work done by Shiv Sena in Mumbai. “A tiger is a tiger whether in a cage or on the loose. He has the same qualities and capabilities. The Shiv Sena is capable of contesting in Mumbai on its own strength,” Patel was then quoted in the joint press conference in February.

Patel also called himself a big fan of the late Bal Thackeray. Now Tables were tuned for BJP in Gujarat on Monday when Patidar leader Narendra Patel in his sensational claim said that he was “made to say” he is switching sides after being offered Rs 1-crore deal to join BJP. He added that he was also tipped 10% of the Rs 1 crore deal on Sunday, where he was given assurance that the remaining big chunk of Rs 90 lakh will be paid to him the next day. With everything said and done Hardik Patel will remain a challenge for Modi in Gujarat.
