Police Officials across Uttar Pradesh to be felicitated by India News – Uttar Pradesh

The police force of Uttar Pradesh will be recognized and felicitated in Lucknow on 26th August, 2015. These bravehearts will be recognized for their contribution to the society by India News – Uttar Pradesh under their unique initiative ‘Shaurya Samman’, presented by  Su-Kam, co–presented by Rajesh Masale and powered by Dreamz Infra Ventures with health partner Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre.

Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Akhilesh Yadav will grace the occasion with his presence as the Chief Guest along with several dignitaries, leaders and celebrities from the Uttar Pradesh region. Shaurya Samman, with its first year in Lucknow, will acknowledge the gallantry of the unsung heroes of the Uttar Pradesh police force.

The selection process will be stringent and the nominees will be further accredited by an eminent jury panel consisting of noted personalities like Mr. Jagmohan Yadav, DGP, Uttar Pradesh; Justice Vishnu Sahai, Retired Judge of Allahabad High Court; Dr. Sandeep Pandey, Social Activist and Winner of Ramon Magsaysay Award for Emergent Leadership; Mr. Arvind Kumar Goel, Social Worker & Philanthropist and Mr. Deepak Chaurasia, Editor-in-Chief, India News.

The award categories are:

•Outstanding Act of Bravery

•Award for Bravery (Posthumous)

•Outstanding Contribution in Solving Case

•Outstanding Effort to Save Human Lives

•Outstanding Effort in Traffic Management

•Outstanding Effort in Community Building

•Outstanding Effort in Training & Research

•Outstanding Expert of Cyber-Crime Solutions

•Lifetime Achievement Award
