The Congress on Sunday said people should take cognisance of the fact that bomb blasts took place in the country when the BJP was in trouble.
"Whenever BJP is in trouble, bomb blasts take place in the country. When Tehelka issue rocked Parliament, Parliament was attacked, Jaipur blasts take place when Karnataka elections were on and recently when BJP's not trust motion was defeated bomb blasts take place in Ahmadabad. Why do blasts take place when BJP is in trouble?" senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh said in Lucknow.
"Its astonishing that in Surat, bombs were found on trees." Singh said adding, "Men of RSS and VHP were involved in making bombs several times and I have proof of their involvement in such activities."
Singh said that not only fanatics of Muslims but also of Hindus were involved in terrorism but percentage of such persons of both the communities was only one.
Terming BJP as a "communal party", which bank on "divisive politics" to gain political mileage, Singh said the party wanted to divide the country again.
The Congress leader also held BJP responsible for the Ramsetu row and raking up the Amarnath issue. "All these were done to gain political mileage," Singh said.
