Meet Maharashtra’s helipad minister, Eknath Khadse who wasted, yes wasted, 10000 litres of precious water in the same district where people are literally parched for lack of any water.

With his government making a mockery of the state help by sending a proverbial drop, when an ocean is needed, Khadse’s excuse is that he didn’t know how much water was used in leveling the ground where his helipad was being constructed.

Keep in mind that this is one of the senior most ministers in the Maharashtra cabinet and it is a government that claims that they are sensitive to the needs of those who have been in the middle of a drought for over two years now.
