Nation at 9 : Did the President’s message compel the PM to break silence?

By NewsX Bureau | Updated: 8 October 2015 , 10:41 pm

A day after the President sent a message to the nation the Prime Minister responded to calls to break his silence. During an election rally in Bihar the Prime Minister Narendra  Modi exhorted the Nation to fight the real enemy that is poverty and not each other.

In an apparent reference to hotheads and political parties, the Prime Minister also asked the Public to ignore their controversial statements made with no other motive than to further a narrow petty political agenda. By bringing the discourse firmly back on the development track has the PM now put the onus of ‘sabka saath and sabka vikas’ squarely on political parties and Netas?
