Much of these constituencies have already voted and that is one of the reasons why Lalu jumped to inject the Dadri beef murder into the Bihar campaign. As the statistics show it helps both sides if the atmosphere is polarised. Beef and the holy cow are then only vehicles of polarisation. If in episode one and two we investigated statisitically why Netas were playing the caste card today we’ll examine the politics behind the beef advertisement blitz and the response to it.
