A fresh demand and the Ram Temple issue take centre-stage again; this time Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy petitioning the prime minister for day-to-day hearings in the case.
The Ram Temple has been a subject of political and public scrutiny since the BJP surreptitiously exclaimed that the Ram Temple was going to be reconstructed again – with or without considering the Muslim communities’ sentiments. Swamy confirmed that the construction of the Ram Temple was going to be commenced before the end of 2016.
Politics or principle, the Ram Temple demand has surely kick-started a debate, but the big question is, can it be denied that the issue is intrinsically linked to the political fabric of Uttar Pradesh?
