The Narsingh Yadav doping controversy turned murkier when a teenage wrestler suspected of spiking his food supplements was identified on Wednesday.
Wrestler Narsingh Yadav has come out and named another wrestler Jitesh from the 76 kg category of spiking his food and drinks. The Wrestling Federation
of India is backing Narsingh’s claims. The 74-kg category wrestler has filed a complaint with Sonipat Police in this regard. But amidst the controversy, the Indian Olympic Association has found a replacement for Narsingh in Parveen Rana.
Sports Minister Vijay Goel says it is not possible to send a replacement for an athlete testing positive for dope. MPs in the Parliament have demanded a CBI probe.
