Within days of the Indian Prime Minister accusing Pakistan of fomenting the unrest in Kashmir and turning the debate on its head by exposing Pak’s atrocities in PoK and repression in Balochistan, Omar Abdullah the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir organised a conclave to ponder Kashmir’s future.
One would have expected the participants which included the Congress, Left and some other local mainstream netas to have backed the PM’s view, after all they are in supreme national interest. But to the dismay of many who covered the event, the group appeared to deride the Prime Minister and make allowance for Pakistan.
