Nation at 9: Farooq Abdullah for talks with Pakistan, as ‘terror state’ bleeds India

Farooq Abdullah has demanded unconditional talks with Pakistan. Congress and National Conference believe that the road to peace with Pakistan doesn’t run through the combative path taken by the Centre but through negotiations.
The comments by Farooq Abdullah and the Rahul Gandhi led Congress have incensed a wide variety of experts not to mention the BJP. The latter has questioned the Opposition’s silence on Uri and the tacit implication that India’s surgical strikes are fuelling terror attacks.
